Ah, the night before Christmas. Well, technically it's the mid-afternoon before Christmas, but it will be nighttime not to mention Christmas soon enough. So while you're opening presents and celebrating the season (or just boozing and watching Magnum P.I. reruns), please enjoy the holiday podcast offering from RFGO! Like presents under the tree, I assure you that there are a few surprises in store for the listener, so enjoy and have a Merry Christmas!
Highlights!
- Arizona is a dead zone, dreams included
- Warning: Watching Showgirls without Chad may lead to an un-fun experience
- Colette has a one-piece holosuit in her closet? Awesome
- Some lucky listeners will have either a Chad or Topher under their tree tomorrow
- Secret Santa time is strangely devoid of game related presents
- Chad has the best sweaters
- I wish Bob Vila was my dad
- Note to me: Ramen=Japanese, but that doesn't change Bill Gates eating habits
- Note to Nick: Give Topher your damn Saturn already
Yeah, this week's episode is more us related than game related, but we do mention a whole lot of good gaming memories (and a couple of bad ones, too). As always, check out the show over here and make sure to leave plenty of comments and well wishes to each other in the comment section. Meanwhile, I hope that each of you get everything that you want this season, regardless of your favorite holiday to celebrate. (Personally, I'm going to crack a 40 and watch Magnum P.I. while celebrating Festivus.)
p.s. Topher's Christmas dolphins are awesome!

PS Space Giraffe rules.
However, I must say, I do enjoy Richard Cheese's "Christmas In Las Vegas"
Also, while listing to the podcast I just thought on how uneventful christmas will become to gamers when digital distribution gets into full swing on consoles.
@Rev
You even hate chiptune christmas music?
Merry Christmas Retroforcers!
Thanks Dyson, Rev, Chad, Topher and Colette for this wonderful Christmas present. I'm going to go listen to it now.
Also, I don't know what you're talking about, Madninja, but I agree completely, I'd do that for people/children to introduce them to games properly, too. (Since I assume that's what you're talking about.)
I remember Christmas Lemmings as well, had it for my Amiga. Can it actually get cuter than little Lemmings with Santa hats on?
Merry Christmas though, thanks for something to listen to today. I love you guys so much.
Seriously, LET ME BACK IN THE OFFICE GOD DAMN IT!
The gift exchange was just epic. Rev's gift for Topher and Colettes reaction were just awesome.
This "toy run" you mention (were some kids run through a Toys'r'Us store and pick up whatever they get) reminds me of a German TV show called "Super Toy Club". Two teams of four kids were competing in some party games (Twister for example) to win a trip to a Toys'r'Us store where they could pick up whatever they want. The lack of video games was explained here, though. The video game part of the store was only available for the team if they collected four key cards within a 3:30 time limit and reached a gate at the end.
I have Alienstorm for the Mega Drive (I grew up in a PAL region) all warm and ready for some Chad. WHERE ARE THE FUCK IS CHAD CONCELMO???
:'(
I dunno, I just don't think $60 is that much, as long as it's a decent game. I think we've been fairly lucky for prices to stay so low.
So, this is probably where I shouldn't mention that I had two Saturns up until August, and probably would have given one to Topher if I still had them. :(
PS: snow kicks ass. :p
Um, why would Twisted Metal be a Christmas game?
