RetroforceGO! ep 99: The Wizard DVD Audio commentary photo

The Cabazon Dinosaurs scene is my favourite part of that movie...closely followed by the Power Glove scene. It's so bad.

At any rate, I really enjoyed this.

Just a quick question. My podcast listening habits mainly consist of when I am on the train to work. I've seen The Wizard dozens of times so am I gonna be able to get away with just listening to you guys yammering on about it or is it going to make no sense at all?

To this day I'm confused about how Haley knows about the secret warp whistle in mario 3. She must be stealing nintendo company secrets on the side. Also Lucas is the most badass character in the history of cinema.Ever.

Trust me, you won't understand why Chaf is laughing so hard if you don't listen while watching the movie. It's really not hard to find and totally worth it. It's a total waste to just listen.

But yeah, that thing with the woman's butt IMMEDIATELY followed by and old fat guy in a Speedo was incredible. I've never seen this movie and it was totally unexpected. I was in tears.

But jeez, what's with all the Haley hate? You'd have an attitude too if you were her age and had no money, family, or home. Shame on you guys. Poor kid. :C

And why did Chad say the ending was sad? I thought it was pretty happy. I was expecting the autistic kid to die or something. Bittersweet, maybe. But not sad.

Anyway, awesome show. Do a couple a year or something, even if it's not game related.

Do you think Super Mario 3 would have sold as well as it did without this movie. I know it is the second best SMB game (Super Mario World is the best), but the movie was a hit with kids and high school age nerds like myself at the time.

Wow, if I learned anything from this, it's that Colette is REALLY mean to other girls. Or at least, trucker and geeky girls.

I had such a crush on the red head when I was a kid. This podcast was really hard to listen to :(

And to whomever asked about getting a not torrent of this movie....well I really am NOT being a smart ass here when I say to just google it. You should get the desired results within the first few hits

So this was the first time for me to ever watch the wizard. I was totally not expecting old man speedo. He was in the shot for a good 2minutes. I laughed so hard that I'm pretty sure i pee'd myself.

In order for Lucas to be able to fake controlling the NES games, he needs to know what movements to make with the Powerglove...(that's what I'm guessing)

Even the first time I watched it on VHS 16 years or so ago, I always thought the character Haley was annoying and mean...

Dont know if i am right but is this movie ever released outside the u.s because as a kid i never heared of it and me and my friends owned everything pretty much that had to do with nintendo.

I heared from this movie prob a few years ago.

Sorry to say but i think this episode was pretty wasted.
but could be because i have never seen the movie as a kid.
