Retro gaming dream machines on Racketboy

neo geo.jpg Does the mere sight of a Neo Geo still give you a chubby in the pants to this day? If so, you'll enjoy this article on Racketboy which chronicles the top 10 video games systems of the last decade which were by all means a little more than a splurge. To this day you can't buy a Turbo Duo cheaper than a Playstation 2, trust me I've tried! While some of these have died and will never be coveted by mankind ever again, there is a surprising demand by retrogamers for the finest products on this list. For example, I recently tried purchasing a copy of Waku Waku 7 for the Neo Geo (I broke down four years ago and it was totally worth sitting in a bathtub without kidneys for an evening) and the damn cart was like $200! I love Bonus Kun, but I rather put that towards my Wii Wii. In any case, it's fun to reminisce.

Classic Amiga title Midwinter set for a remake

Back in the late '80s a game arrived on the Commodor Amiga that I think few played but was way ahead of the times. Midwinter was a survival, turn-based strategy title and a stealth-based, first-person RPG and Eurogamer is rep...more
