It's safe to say that everyone at Destructoid is a big supporter of Retro City Rampage, the upcoming XBLA homage to retro gaming. After all, the editors are playable characters in-game alongside Mr. Destructoid himself. So of course Tara and Conrad got some hands on time with the game and OF COURSE they grabbed Brian Provinciano, the game's creator, for an interview. If it's a pop culture reference worth making, it's probably in Retro City Rampage.
That wonderful man has surprisingly thick arms.

His game isn't the ONLY thing that now has double the content.
God dammit. Quit showing this Fucking game. I swear its one massive Fucking troll. It will never release. Fucking hate these guys. Seriously how many God damn years has it been now. Fuck me
@PhilK3nS3bb3n: It's totally real and Brian tells me it's nearly done. The paperwork is really what slowed him down, apparently, and now he's holding off until the new year to avoid the rush of AAA titles hitting this holiday.
Michael Jackson, The Ghostbusters and BTTF have all received their own games recently, but I think that Bill & Ted reference just sold me on this game!!
Thank you for supporting WiiWare!!
btw was that a ducktales money-bin I saw in the video?
Also, not to be that guy, but dickriding destructoid is actually making me want the game less. And unless you also are adding a select group of peeps from other gaming sites, its seems as if he's pandering to a group of individuals that hardly make a dent in the overall sales of games, and might seem like a fuck you to the rest of the gaming community.
@freetouch, to be fair the only other gaming journalists I'd want are the Giant Bomb guys and maybe Sessler.
But I think its more of a "thank you" for the coverage Dtoid has given the guy (again, its basically one dude making an entire game), its not like RCR has gotten a whole hell of a lot of attention otherwise. I personally only recall seeing it mentioned here and some years old Nintendo Powers.
@free touch: I really don't think it's "pandering" as much as it is that the majority of the dtoid staff is genuinely excited for this game. And why not play to people that care rather then a website the doesn't care.
so yay pretty much what Zippedbinders said. Except Adam Sessler GROSS he really seems so phony. Not a fan.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

And it's because I have a massive boner.
For the game, of course.
Have faith, dude.
Looking great though. I'm glad it seems like its actually going to come out soon. You've reassured me Conrad!
that picture is priceless, just like my boner
