Fez is the kind of game that a girl who does a retro podcast goes to sleep and dreams about: 2D look with a bit of 3D mixed in, bleepy music, and a totally innovative look with no regard whatsoever for keeping in step with the pressures of next-gen gaming. To say I want it bad would be a vast understatemen, as I'm looking forward to this game more than I am titles with ten times its budget.
A new trailer just came out (see it after the jump), surely related to the fact that developers Kokoromi are going to be at GDC this week. If you happen to be there, you catch them at 10:30 and 11:45 am chatting about indie game promotion. Of course, if you are there, you're probably busy watching Nintendo's keynote. Can't say I blame you .. so am I!
This and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor are the only real games I am excited about this year.
There are other games, but those are the two I am most excited for.
I am excited for this game, but my most anticipated game of the year, downloadable or otherwise, has to be Fat Princess. Anyone at GDC going to check that out?
The sad thing about it is, that it's programmed with XNA for XBox. I'm looking forward to a PSN port. Please guys do it for me, it's looking so damn good and fun : )
