Glad I played both of these, even though I didn't finish either because I got bored. (R2 was way better than FoM, though.)

Found resistance to be a bit too "plain vanilla" for my taste. The aliens were neat though, especially the need for the cooling apparatus to be installed. Can anyone jog my memory..was it the species as a whole that were prone to overheating? Or just the ones who fought?
Insomniac on their facebook also mentioned that this bundle is supposed to contain some R3 content. Not sure if it's just a beta key or what though.

Really? I think Resistance is one of the most unique fps franchises out there. Great setting, unique guns and multiplayer etc.

Seriously though, both are very enjoyable games, and definitely worth picking up if you want a cool sci-fi shooter.

Resistance is great shit. Its like the HALO of ps3...never played the first one but the second one had an awesome story and the multiplayer was great too.. never forget the first time i fought the monster in chicago...bout shit myself.
Looks like I'll have to pawn off my copy of R2. Still haven't played the original yet so I may get this. I already have all the DLC though.

Other than the outlandish weapons, though, the games share very few similarities.
Plus, Halo is actually fun...

I have been meaning to pick them up, but I can find both for about 30 bucks, so I don't see why I would spend 40.
