Okay, let's muster some fake enthusiasm as we talk about PlayStation Home getting a Resistance space. Actually, I'll just copy Locust_Star's PS Blog post word for bloody word:
Whether you are a heroic Sentinel triggerman or a heartless Chimeran killing machine -- it’s high time you log into SCEA’s PlayStation Home and join your fellow soldiers as we launch (pun intended) into the next phase of the platform’s evolution.
This Thursday, May 21st, the epic sci-fi shooter franchise Resistance comes blasting into Home with a dedicated game space featuring an awesome turret-style FPS mini-game, reward items, leaderboards and full-on game launching support.
Hooray! If you're a Resistance fan, there will be some Insomniac peeps hanging around the Home Space at times, like Pete Townsend at a local primary school. Sounds like a right rip-roaring treat, doesn't it? I think I've written enough words about this now so I am going to stop.

If the human race is ever anialated and wiped off the face of the planet by an alien species, that alien species will one day make fun of Playstation HOME in their classrooms as one of the worst failures the human race ever created.
HOME is such a waste of time. Why Sony would even imagine that I would want to boot up a whole other program to then launch my games beggars belief. Perhaps, early on in the formation of Sony's online strategy, one of the suits goes to the Dentist and whilst waiting for treatment picks up a copy of Omni or Wired. Hey what's this? Second Life!!! Next day he busts out his idea to the Tech Guys. No-one has the heart to tell him that the magazine was like 2 even 3 years old. And lo, HOME is born.
ZOMG!! Me and Resistance are BFFs!! I'm going through the campaign again and I may be one of the few, but I'm really finding R2 to be one of the more enjoyable single player FPS experiences I've played. And I mean that in comparison to Killzone and Halo, not Bioshock and Half-Life (both which I have yet to play). I definitely need to play the original Resistance to understand what the hell is going on.
This also gives me a good reason to go back to my Chamber Apartment. Yeah I downloaded it. I spent a good 10 minutes looking for the meowing kitty cat, which I did not find, and another 5 laughing at my character as he sat on the only piece of furniture looking very lonely and staring emptily out of the window. I also figured out that the apartment is located in the war-torn Badlands of Warhawk, hence why it was free.
Seems odd that they waited so long to make a resistance space but I find it hard to complain about anything that free. The shooting game doesn't look that great but at least its something (beats the gamers lunge which literally has nothing to do in it) and at least it has a scoreboard so that could give it some replay value. You cant underestimate the value of a scoreboard. The RedBull Air Race game isn't really anything all that special either but I've become obsessed with trying to shorten my time. I just need to shave off one more second...
