I didn't get to play a lot of SOCOM 4 at PAX East, but I did like the cover system. It will be interesting to see how it works with Move. Resistance 3, on the other hand, should have no problem implementing Move, since they have only to study the other FPS titles that have used it.
I think it's safe to say that Move is finding a niche in the shooter genre, even if the offerings in other areas have been few and far between.

Seriously, if you enjoyed light gun games as a kid, and want a proper FPS games, with moving around (free, not on rails) and full controller buttons, competitive online, WITH light gun type shooting too!! Move has you covered.
Want a solid, weighty, meaty, beautiful shooter? - Killzone 3.
Want a super realistic, 3rd person, tactical team based shooter, with classic gameplay, you know, from one of the first online console shooter franchises, and at it's very best? - SOCOM 4 (aka Special forces in Europe)
Want a fast, light, floaty, twitchy shooter with aliens and pew pew guns. - Resistance 3.
Hell if you want to play what is one of my favourite shooters from last year, MAG with 256 players AND move controller/sharp shooter - yup, you can do that too!
Add to those all the non-shooter games and you've got yourself a decent platform with a damn fine line up.
Seriously Move is just crushing the haters under a weight of awesome games(I don't personally like Resistance 1 or 2, but can appreciate it) and fantastic support. I've personally had a lot of fun with at least 8 Move games and it's been out like what? 7 months?
How many add on "platforms" like this do you know of with 3+ AAA shooters and at least 8 or 9 awesome games on it in the first 7-8 months?
I did a bit of an essay on a whole bunch more games and the sharpshooter, settings etc in the forums under the "Y U no Liek Motion conrols" poll in the forum. Come and discuss.

However using the Move as a light gun is a pretty easy way to literally "change" a "game".
My vote is fully down in the "Add move lightgun controls, make yo game better" box.
What's most important:-
1) That games were designed specifically for a motion controller, with a revolutionary control system that's never been seen before.
2) That the games are fun to play with motion controls and can hold thier own against regular controllers online.
I know what's more important to me.
The move (and sharpshooter) are a nice optional control scheme, there's just something about holding what feels like an assault rifle (albeit plastic) while playing shooting games.... who knew?!

Seems pretty apparent that some people do care, which makes you look kind of silly for your "no one cares" statement. Because you don't like a control scheme does not mean that it cannot be enjoyed by others. That kind of mindset is narrow-minded and childish. But hey, the world should be judged by the people YOU know who own a PS3, that's obviously a perfect indicator for technology adoption.
Besides that, how on earth does adding Move support lower quality? I'm pretty sure Zipper themselves said that Move code is easy to implement and brings very little overhead. If you have sources that say otherwise, then please enlighten the rest of us.
"God forbid I be more concerned that they make it good than add a fucking light gun." Why can't it be both. And while your right in implying that SexChoco '9' people who like the Move isn't impressive in and of itself, it does say something that a majority of these posts wholeheartedly endorse the Move option.
Don't assume that if you personally don't like it then it is fundamentaly bad. It's an option for those that do.
I really need the PS Eye so that I can at least platinum Burnout Paradise :p
