Here it is, the GameTrailers TV exclusive world premiere trailer for Insomniac's Resistance 2. As with most teaser trailers, it doesn't give too much away, but it gives you a good idea of where Insomniac are going with the game. Huge environments, big battles, things exploding. You get the idea.

Those clamoring for actual gameplay footage are going to have to wait -- GameTrailers TV is promising a world premiere exclusive on June 13. That happens to land right on the final day of this year's E3 Business and Media Summit. Think that means we'll get our first hands-on of the game in just a few short months? We certainly hope so. GameTrailer TV's Jeremy Hoffman has decided to be a total jerk and call me out, reminding me that E3 is in July, not June. He's right. As always. Jerk. But we hope (and believe) we'll see more Resistance 2 at E3 in July.

What do you guys think of the trailer? Does it look as good as you expect, or even better?

Typical. Go for the fanboy angle, whenever someone agrees with the people you're harrassing. Real intelligent, dude. No, I'm not a fanboy. I am what is known as "not a total dick," and I defend people when I feel that they warrant defending. You were making ridiculous accusations and being a (somewhat) self-admitted dick, thus I said something against you. Anyone who is unbiased and pays a lick of attention to my comments will find it quite obvious that I do NOT always agree with the editors. I simply have a great deal of respect and appreciation for them and their work. They're good people. End of story.

welcome to Dtoid .... get use to this kind of butt licking session to the writers from some M$ fanboys ...

only one thing i will say about nick , he's one who i give credibility here. mistake happens to everybody. nick's usually do is job well and he's fair with every console ... all i'm asking about a journalist or a bloggers to be fair. don't always agree with him but i respect what he's doing here ... but i won't lick is butt because somebody don,t agree with him ... i respect opinion from others when it's fair ... ex: you won't see me saying gears of war is a shitty game because i have a PS3 ... Gears is a good game that's it! some M$ fanboys won't do the same about the PS3

about RFOM ... great game and i hope the second will be great too. it's not a fanboy comment ... because there's also shitty games on the PS3 ... but RFOM is a good game !
