Resistance 2 teaser trailer is a tease, gameplay footage June 13

This game is going to rule.

I'm not all that excited. I played the first resistance so much that I actually don't care for it anymore. I don't know if that makes sense, but if it launches that close to Metal Gear 4, they are going to be in a world of hurt.

The Despised, a lot of the editors find information on their own or through various tips. They don't have the time to run through each community blog in search of info. I have posted many news blogs and have not complained once about me not getting credit for it. Please do not insult them.

@nick I clicked through to GT, but it's still doing it. I'm using Firefox. When I press play all it does is sit there.

I don't think any of my friends are going to get it so, i wont have my crew to co-op with. They all played Resistance (online) with me, and aren't excited either. I just think that whole year with nothing to play on the ps3 really burned out Resistance for us. I don't have the devotion of a Halo fan.

the funny thing is, i played some of the original resistance, but didn't like it all that much. well, it was ok and could get really intense at some points, but it was never as compelling as gears. it seemed kind of bland to me.

somehow ratchet and clank and all the things i've been hearing about insomniac and r2 are making me want this game... and a ps3.

mgs4, killzone 2, littgle big planet, heavy rain, god of war 3, whatever team ico is doing, wipeout hd... suddenly it's all so tempting...

for an original launch title its still being played today, how many are on perfect dark zero? that's a fncking comparison if any are, because we all know the answer.

As for the trailer, this is starting to excite me more than Gears 2 at this point --- 8-player co-op, 60-player multiplayer, 50gb game... I really hope this game blows everything away. The first Gears was WAY better than the first Resistance in my opinion, but I see a change this time around...

Uh... there's a difference between criticizing someone's work and just plain accusing others of something really stupid and false.

Anyway, to stay on topic, I played the demo of the first game and thought it felt really generic and bland. Not so sure about the sequel though. The multi-player is temping though. The trailer does look pretty epic, that's for sure.

You are a fucking asshole, dude. Seriously, you're the smug bastard here. Your criticism is bullshit, and Nick deserves better than that. The c-blogs and the front page are 100% seperate. Sometimes stories are found in the c-blogs and are then posted on the front page (and always with proper credit, where due) but, contrary to the rules of the little world in which you apparently live, not every editor has to scan through every single c-blog before they post, just to make sure that someone didn't get there first. Get your head out of your ass and stop trying to apply your rules to someone else's rulebook.

Also, brainderailment, GT embeds work every single time, for me. (Except for this one, admittedly.) It's GameVideos embeds that suck ass and take a million years to load.

It's true, Gears and Resistance are two very different games. I guess the reason why I'm compelled to compare them so often is because I played both of them for almost nothing but multiplayer, and I had a ton more fun with the first Gears.

But yes, I completely agree, they're different games with different styles.

Oh, one more thing for Mr. Despised. Read this. It about sums it up.

One other thing Mr. Chester before I exit. I know you don't appreciate your fellow editors being called names. Perhaps you could express that same sentiment to fanboys like Sharpless who have consistently done this very same thing when somebody "dares" to disagree with a member of the Destructoid staff.
