Resistance 2 getting a Leviathan sized patch, Stalker will be able to move photo

One of my favorite things about Resistance 2’s cooperative campaign is the Stalker’s immobility. I’m an experience point whore and I like them when they come cheap and easy. The mammoth metal spider looks nasty, but it lacks the ability to turn around. BlindsideDork and I like to position our dudes behind the machine and pummel away at its health and collect the experience candy when it finally pops.

This Monday, that will no longer be possible. Insomniac is rolling out a behemoth patch that addresses a lot of different multiplayer issues including the Stalker’s egregious (but satisfying) lack of maneuverability.

However, the patch isn’t confined to multiplayer. It also tightens some weapon problems and fixes a few in-game rewards. Hit the break for the patch notes and don't forget to tell me how badly you want Insomniac to add text support to multiplayer.

Kool, Although Im glad the Stalker will move now, I mean sure its nice a simple to shoot it and not have it move but at least this way its not as boring just standing there with the rail gun wasting for your clip to run down. Hopefully with this patch the Titan AI will be better, too many times he just stuck in walls facing away from you, and that's not as fun. Ill see you online in Resistance 2 by the way! A co-op game maybe?

I'm glad they're fixing the Stalker. Please let the Marauder move around too, that'd be nice.

I'd recommend playing medic in coop A LOT this weekend, cause they're probably gonna gimp their XP bigtime this patch.

Hope the patch will solve the subtitles problem as well. Subtitles option just disappeared after the last patch (at least for r3 version), so I just got the half story (as a non-english speaker). Would be appreciated.

I see no mention of fixing the Co-Op splitscreen aspect ration problem...

Has anybody found a solution, because I really would like to play my HD games on the expensive HDTV I bought just to play them on, not be limited to 2/3 of the screen (because Splitscreen leaves a lot of room, doesn't it?).

Having played R2 for a couple of days, I'm disappointed in the QA. It crashes every time I end an Offline Splitscreen, and I've seen plenty of places where Titans get stuck in a loop and walk around in circles (unable to be killed, of course).

I've also that during some of the hectic fighting, one sound will keep repeating itself until a checkpoint has been reached.

WTF Insomniac? I can understand fixing little problems or issues with multiplayer to reduce lag and whatnot... But it's like they didn't even play their own damn game!

I guess they conform to the developer motto: "It must be fine: It compiles!"
