Wiifanboy has found out about a Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles game bundle that includes the Wii Zapper as a pack-in. So far this seems like a Japan-only item.
The "Expert Package" comes with the new Biohazard game, a 28-page book called Wesker's Extra Report, the Wii Zapper, and some stickers (what's the deal with stickers and Japan?). The whole shebang will cost 8,610 yen (about $75).
Personally, I prefer RE:Umbrella's zombie pew pew action over Link's crotch-shooting Goron pew pew action.

Now, that's an awesome Wii "zapper".
Or, if you like you can get one that is a mixture of the one above and the official Wii Zapper.
Both seem like better choices than the actual Wii Zapper.
Dual use of them would be kind of WINx2 in UC!
The Wii Zapper just doesn't satisfy my pathetic craving for a real sense of a gun in my hand, I want a nice chunky Desert Eagle feeling piece in my hand. Pathetic but true, and I doubt I'm alone.
