Usually, downloadable games on Xbox Live can only offer 200 Gamer Points' worth of Achievements. The HD reissues of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica, however, will offer 1,000 Points each, boasting full-fledged Achievements.
This is because they are skipping both retail and Xbox Live Arcade in the West, releasing instead via Xbox Live's "Games on Demand" service. Since full-fledged retail games appear on this service, the two Resi remasters aren't bound by XBLA restrictions.
Despite the presence of retail copies in Japan, the Resident Evil HD remasters are exclusively digital in Europe and North America. They'll be coming to Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network a little later this year.

This makes me a bit sad since I can't import it from the UK and save money.
The Prince of Persia HD games on the PSN cost $15 each and had full Trophies. I'm hoping for similar pricing on these Resident Evil Games.
I'm also hoping the HD PoP games come to Xbox 360 with full achievements, but so far I haven't heard anything about that.

RE4 will be easy no matter what with the amount I have beaten that game. Hope that achievement list is better than the Code Veronica List.
Also the code veronica list requires you to unlock the RPG and Liner which I have never done. Looking forward to unlocking those now.

I'm still buying them, but it's a little disappointing.
Plus, RE5 was a pain. Freaking Sheva picking up my god-damned mines.
Then again, that's really not much of a problem anymore, and it's nothing to really complain about. I guess it just kind of strikes a nerve for me. :/
