Machinima is back with a new live action web series, this time based on Resident Evil. The show is a prequel of sorts to RE2, following Leon Kennedy as he turns up to the wrong station on his first day.
Episode 1 is extremely slow and lacks any action (or dialog, for that matter). I understand the need to "set the tone," but this is a great way to turn off viewers immediately. I hope it gets better. I know others weren't too hot on Mortal Kombat: Legacy, but I enjoyed it, and I would like to enjoy First Hour as well.
Tony Ponce (aka megaStryke) is a culturally confused, Canadian-born Puerto Rican who grew up in Japan and South Florida ... yet can only speak English. He specializes in writing features and maintaining an immaculate goatee. Likes: Any and all things related to Mega Man, Contra, Castlevania, 2D, PB&J sandwiches, applesauce, and candy corn.

Meh. It's not bad but not great either. Also, were we meant be scared or shocked by the ending? It was draw out too long and any gamer could see it from a mile off.
Resident Evil elements are present but the truth is this haves nothing to do with the original story, not sure what this suppose to be really but then again one thing is for sure, it's a fail.
