I think this will most likely be a unlockable mini-thing post-game in that case. Can't say I'm all for it, never really liked Ada that much.

I don't know Jim. I like where this is going actually. If they use this as a jumping off point to split the series into more action oriented games and a split into traditional survival horror, this could be a good thing. It could cause more of a rift in the fanbase, but I think the fanbase is already split as it is.

From the trailer I gathered that Ada Wong is the Wesker of "Neo Umbrella" which is such a stupid name (Stupid in a good way).
I wonder if many gamers mind a disjointed feel in a game. I'm currently playing Catherine and remember one of your critiques in your review was the disjointed condition of its gameplay and narrative, however, I don't think I'm disliking it at all, I could go as far as saying its variety is actually refreshing and might help break an otherwise monotone and tiring pacing.
Certainly RE6 will feel more together than Catherine so it might not be an issue for most gamers.

the Leon part of the demo was definitely my favorite. so freaking creepy. and the graphics were incredible!

@HEL105 Oh I know Jim's choice of a header pic is old, but did you see the trailer which revealed her involvement? We get a clean full-face shot of her and I was surprised at her, um, facelift? :)
hate to say it but I'm gonna wait for gold edition again I have no problem waiting a year or so after release. Hope Ada's story is dope. Hyped but don't want to get burned.

Totally gonna be DLC, i can totally see the "surprise" reveal 1 or 2 weeks before launch just like Catwoman for Arkham City.
Yeah, thats one way to keep it fresh and not overdo things so there could easily be an interesting next game: overload six with every possible character you'd ever wish to see before you even get to the idea of the seventh game. Thats a smart move. /sarcasm

Resi 6 looks awesome to me but I can't help but wonder if its going to be just like 5; tonnes of wasted potential and silly ideas keeping a good game from being truly fantastic.
