We already knew that Resident Evil 5 was going to take a viral approach with the debut of the Ceremony video, but who ever expected to see Chris go on a hot sunrise date with a sexy Asian chick in the next installment?
You wouldn't need viral video to sell me this game, but I do agree that it generates some fun buzz, and it leaves me wondering what the next one (if there is another) could be like. Do you like these videos, or would you rather just see traditional trailers with gameplay?
ZOMG. Both of those were just about the coolest game ads I've ever seen! And the game footage......(salivates). I *might* just buy a 360 or Playstation 3 just for this game. And Bullet Train, that's a good point about the lady perhaps being Ada.

Actually, I would like if the ads were stripped of gameplay. This is actually the first time the real consequences of surviving a Zombie Situation - a really effed up PTSD. We all know the game will be beyond awesome, so we don't really nned anymore gameplay. Yet more character and story really fleshes out the game and the story, in a universe where viral outbreaks are our bread and butter.
Yeah it's abit kitschy, and Chris comes across as a very unlike able weirdo, something about him just isn't right (I preferred the old school RE1 Chris actor, not to mention how smitten I was with the chick who played Jill.)
@Terror Player -- I think I might have preferred it that way too. The inclusion of the gameplay kind of breaks you out of what's happening in the beginning.
