Resident Evil 5 sexy gallery of sexiness photo

Check out the hotness! Resident Evil 5 is easily looking like one of 2009's best incoming games, and these new gorgeous screenshots do little to dissuade such theories.

They mainly show off Chris and Sheva working together in their bid to promote racial harmony -- kind of like Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder, except with slightly more killing involved. The most striking images, for me, are the daylight ones. They look incredibly rich and especially beautiful.

One of Resident Evil 4's best elements was that some of its scariest moments occurred during the daylight in outdoor environments. I'm glad Resident Evil 5 is continuing that, proving that scary games don't all have to take place in dark corridors. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just I like my horror to come in more than one flavor. 

Either way you slice it, this is looking great. Do you agree, or are you some sort of mutant?

Nothing does pure panic as good as the RE:4. And RE:5 looks set to continue the trend. I couldn't be more horrified. In a good way.

I don't think people are ready for how good this game actually looks in motion. I remember standing there with my jaw open at E3 -- this is going to blow people away

I really hope that what everyone says about how this looks is true. I can't wait already just for the game, and excellent graphics are a huge bonus.

I don't think I've ever seen a game's entire PR/game mechanic tie-in summarized so...literally.

The game looks great and it may end up being the one Resident Evil that I finish.

Maybe someone who's seen the game can comment on the lighting effects that Capcom was touting when RE5 was first announced. There was rumor of a "brighter" game, that is, more sun and sun effects. I'm not seeing that in the screenshots, but they are only screenshots.

Day one purchase for me regardless.

Looks great, as expected. I wish Silent Hill games looked this damn good :-(

I'm usually not this confident in an unreleased game, but I really think this is going to be an amazing game. RE4 is a classic in my eyes, and I hope this follows suit. So far, that looks quite possible.

Thing is if they re-released resi 4 with sexy next gen graphics i'd probably buy it again anyway, but this way I get a whole new game with Co-op!!!
Is it slightly wrong that I'm looking forward to the continuation of the story... such as it is...?

The first bunch of Resi games were set in the US, but was anyone sayin "Noooo, you're being racist to white people"? No, because that would be stupid. It would be just as stupid as someone saying that they're racist for having a couple of their games being set in places where there are mexicans/black people. What are people saying now? "Noooo, you can't have a game set in Africa! That's racist against black people!"

Please.

That said, the game looks awesome, can't wait for it to come out.
