Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV to make an appearance in Home photo

Capcom is gearing up to celebrate the release of Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV in the Japanese version of Home. New screens revealed by Famitsu prove that Sony and Capcom are working together, but we’re not entirely sure the Western-crowd will get a crack that these costumes and environments. It would be silly not to bring to bring the content over. Leon and Chun-Li skins would be the best things to happen to Home since microphone chatter was cut.

Some of this stuff may come at a price. Kotaku are reporting that the SF IV costumes and items will be for sale.

Lastly, this content will be followed by matchmaking options in Home. RE: 5’s options will be tacked on as soon as the game is released. SF IV will lag behind because it needs to be updated before the support can be added.

Lol. This is looks terrible. Like if Capcom decided to use the design template of Mortal Kombat for SFIV.

If I had a PS3, I'd leave this Home uglyness to fester in a dark development corner. For anyone out there who ever want SF to go with a real life look, that's how ug it can be.

Downloaded Home, logged in, walked around for 5 minutes, logged out.

Haven't logged in since.

I did what Scientist tz said. Now they are trying to make us buy stuff to advertise their games... Thanks, but no thanks. Seems I was in the right track when I deleted the Home installation.

What scientist tz said, I did the same thing. I don't think we're hating on it, its just not interesting to us, and from what I've read, a lot of others just don't bother with it. When I boot up my ps3, every night btw, my friends list is full of people playing games. I don't think I've seen any of my friends, over 40 total, on my list in home for at least a month. Its not that bad, but its still in beta, seems like it will be forever, and not all that useful right now. Sony gave us something no one freaking asked for, which can be a good thing when done right, but this isn't one of those times.

If they asked you what would you want in the playstation 3 before it released would you really say something like Home? Or you know a great catalogue of games to play with.

Cotton McKnight, don't you hate every single thing on this site except PS3 coverage?

These are kinda ugly. That Ken model looks like He-Man, only less buff and more gay.

I went into Home with an open mind as a new PS3 user recently, and it was terrible. I don't know why anyone would spend their time trotting around in the sterile environments "interacting" with people via Sims motions when they could be PLAYING GAMES.

But I guess that's "hating".

Deleted Home last night, there's been nothing even remotely interesting about until the Redbull arena, which turned out to also be shit - terrible and unintuitive design. Waste of 3GB space in its current form, I'll go back when they add something worthwhile in.

@ Cotton-

I never said anything about attempting to launch games from Home. But that's what happens (along with your angry, bitter tone in Home-related posts) when you drag baggage from your past dozen e-arguments into each comment thread, I guess. Wires get crossed.

It's interesting that if I independently come to the conclusion that Home sucks and is a waste of time that I am "falling in line". You're the one falling in line by arbitrarily assigning positions and motivations to people you don't know based upon their opinions. It's just that your line (of hyper-sensitive PS3 fanboys) is much, much shorter.

I dig the mini statues but those avatars look like bad cosplay, I'm afraid that if they do a Cammy avatar it'll look like a corpse with a pancake ass.

I own a PS3 and a 360 and I like em' both, but I have to agree that Home sucks. I logged on and stood around for a couple minutes just in time to see 3 guy avatars fighting over talking to a girl avatar. Pathetic. I uninstalled it and will never log onto that useless piece of junk ever again.

Sony should really consider patenting that soul-less look.

I'm all for adding more to home ( I still believe it can really be something amazing one day) but , well , why do they look like there on crack ???

@ Cotton

But guess what? Right now it's not implemented so people are allowed to bitch. Get off of Sony's dick and quit defending Home like it's your kid.
