Honestly, I now kind of wish Onimusha 3 was good. RE has been floundering now that it can't make up its mind what it wants to be.
RE4 is IMO the best game that the last generation had to offer. Fuck the Wii version too, shit worked better with the GameCube controller.
I finished this game for the fifth time last month, I can't believe how much fun I had with a six year old game I've already played to death. Resident Evil 4 is fucking amazing!

I must say, I really regret giving my copy of RE4. And recently got Onimusha 3, very good game.

Onimusha also inspired the the god of war series. The camera never really bothered me in the Onimusha series for some reason.
Wow, I'm surprised at how positive some of the commenters are toward RE4. Most of the time people are bitching and moaning at how it ruined the franchise.

RE4 was amazing, but Onimusha 3 was damn good as well. I can understand that he wanted a change of camera, but to say Onimusha 3 was anything less than good is stupid.
EternalDeathSlayer, you know you can play the Wii version with a Gamecube controller, right? That along with the added content from the PS2 version, and the whole game being on a single disc, I think qualifies the Wii version as being the best version.
