For the starting auction price of $150,000, you can hire an eight man game design company for 3 months. I don't know what kind of game you could make in 3 months though (your own
Rockstar Paddleshit?). Let's do the math - divide by 3 months, divide by eight people and you get $6250 a month - in other words if they were on an annual gig you're paying them a $75,000 median salary. Not too shabby. And they make games all day. I'm in the wrong business.
Check it out!. I asked them a 3 part question, which they have already graciously answered. Check out the site for their auction for their response.
First, where would the team work out of - telecommute or in my garage? Secondly, does winning entitle me to work you guys like true gaming industry slaves on 16 hour shifts so the game can actually get done on time? (I run a different ship than Sony, ladies!) Lastly, can the PR person who planned this stunt also be on staff? I want some suggestions on Destructoid!!!
