Renegade Kid's next eShop game is about bombs and monkeys
Score one for Mutant Mudds! Renegade Kid's basic yet unbelievably enjoyable platformer for the 3DS has been kicking ass in a big way. In addition to the widespread critical acclaim, the game has been receiving plenty of exposure in Nintendo's advertising, from the main eShop page to last month's Nintendo Direct video. It's no surprise then that Renegade Kid is working on another eShop title. A teaser page for a game called Bomb Monkey has just appeared. It's a puzzler that involves bombs and at least one monkey, but other than that, we've got nothing. Hopefully, it will be finished before year's end. I'm looking forward to whatever this turns out to be! Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Glad some 3rd party devs seem to be having some success with the eShop, keep em coming guys and we'll keep buying. When I first saw the header image thumb on the front page(TE of destructoid) I thought the monkey was wearing a turban or something....
Now I'm disappointed... -_-; I cannot wait for this game. I love the polish of MUTANT MUDDS. I'm way more excited for Thursdays than I am for Tuesdays, though that's partly because we have more visibility of XBL / PSN releases, compared to eShop releases. Niiice. I'll buy it probably. These guys are great devs and I love monkies. Need a bit more info though Sounds good! I actually enjoy the eshop games for 3DS more than the full retail games. I'm not sure if that's a compliment to the eshop, or an indication of mediocre many of the full retail 3DS games are. 1:00 PM on 05.18.2013 NPD: Injustice and Dead Island lead sales in April[DC zombie sculpts by Casey Love Designs] The NPD Group released US sales data for April 2013 two days ago, but a complete lack of enthusiasm on the part of the Destructoid staff has delayed our posting it.
