Reminder: Triggerheart Exelica on XBLA this Wednesday photo

These last few weeks in Xbox Live Arcade have been nothing short of fantastic, with great release after great release. Topher informed us a few days ago that one of his most beloved shmups was going to be released on the 27th in Japan, but there wasn't any word on whether or not it would be making its way to other regions as well.

Thankfully, we can now say with certainty that the trend of awesomeness is still going strong -- Triggerheart Excelica will be out on XBLA this week for 800 Microsoft Points. I hope the rest of you are excited to get this, or at the very least, plan on trying the demo.

Wednesday is too long of a wait!

I already have my points ready, so there is no delay on downloading this.

Wednesday is my day off. I couldn't have planned it better.

I can't wait to see all the big macho Live players bitching about how the game is too hard.

I wish I wasn't so epically bad at shmups, I still love to play them though.

Sweet baby jesus! I cannot wait for this game! Although I am about to be crushed yet again after the confirmed delay of Smash Bros Brawl....is there any news on a UK/PAL release for this gem? I can't find any news anywhere...

I'll definitely check out the demo, but it doesn't look like my kind of shooter so I don't think I'll pick it up. We'll see though. :)

I will take Topher's word for it and download it right away. Not like I needed all those MS points I have, right?

Dare I? With papers, presentations, etc...lets take the responsible route! So I'll just leave it all for the last minute so I can play. Responsible, right?

That screenshot reminds me of an older game that I used to play in the 80's (at the arcade). Can't remember what it was called, but it had that overhead look to it, and you flew through geometric-looking areas. Think it began with an "X" or something.

Will definitely try the demo. My funds are low this week though, so I may have to hold off on a purchase.

Will buy. This and N+ are ample reason for me to plonk down for some MS points.
