The demo for Ruffian Games’ Crackdown 2 is now available to all on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Go download it now; you don’t even have to get up and go to your Xbox 360, you lazy fool -- just queue it up here.

The demo is capped at 30 minutes of play time, includes “accelerated Agent leveling” (so you can start doing cooler stuff sooner) and four-player cooperative play over Xbox LIVE. And in a move that I think should be standard on all demos going forward, you’ll be able to earn Achievements in the demo that will carry over to the full game, which is in stores on July 6.

I played a bit of the demo over the weekend, and can confirm that this is indeed the sequel to Crackdown, obsessive orb collecting and all. Anyone else have a chance to try it out? What do you think?
