Can't wait for this. I've been a fan of the Resi game since day 1, although the series started going sour for a while with lots of samey sequels. RE4 kicked ass and the new one looks like it will follow suit.
My friend and I played RE4 from start to finish. We couldn't wait until the other one would die so we'd trade off. I cannot wait for RE5.
i remember liking RE2 a buttload, then didn't buy another til Resident Evil 0 for the 'cube for the awesome graphics, then none again til RE4, looks like i'll make back to back RE purchases finally.

it's coming out for PS2 and 360, not sure about anything else. oh yeah, wii's getting its own resident evil, which might be cool.
It's a good thing RE5 is being released on these powerful new consoles because RE4 left absolutely no room for improvement on the older hardware. Can't wait for ANY footage of this game, and I really hope Claire makes an appearance.
Leon is the protagonist in RE5? I thought it was either Chris or people were still debating on who it is. Regardless, yeah RE4 kicks major ass and I can't wait for 5 to come out.
chado: we all know that. if you notice, the post doesn't say it currently has new screenshots. this is what one calls a rumor, the possibility that Famitsu will have new screen shots next week (which is in the future).
wow..i love RE..the second one was the best!! but i can't wait till the game gets to the 360..thats going to be Ballin!!!
This probably isn't happening -- Famitsu has listed it's features/hotness for it's next issue and RE5 is not mentioned.
