Just when you've grown tired of smashing up watermelons and sliding across tables, Midway is coming to save the day. Announced today, ten additional multiplayer maps for Stranglehold will be available soon for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The map pack includes Kowloon Market, Wong's Estate Grounds, and the Rooftops of Chicago. Additionally, 21 all-new multiplayer character skins will be made available. All of this comes with ten new Xbox 360 achievement, for a total of 250 points.

No word on release date (other than "available soon") or price. We're crossing our fingers for "free," but we're a bunch of dirty old pesimmists here; we'll keep you posted.

What the fuck is the point? Barely anyone played it when the game first came out(the most I found was 3 people) and that was before Halo 3 and CoD4.

Talk about wasting resources, how about they balance the single player a bit on the harder difficulties? That I'd pay money for.

It looks about as good as nothing very special at all, ever.

Are you serious? The multiplayer is pretty ridiculous, I'm surprised they actually added DLC for this.

I played and enjoyed the demo. Sad to say the game sits sealed next to my TV.
