Registration now open for PAX East photo

East coast people, prepare yourselves! You have exactly 356 days and fifteen hours as of this posting to get ready for PAX East. PAX East is taking place at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts from March 26 through the 28 in the year 200X. If you purchase your passes before March 25, it will cost you $50 for a three day pass or $30 for a day pass. At the door prices go up by $5, so three day passes will run $55 and a day pass for $35.

As you may know, PAX is a very special time for Dtoiders. We have over a hundred people committed to PAX 2009 already and we hope to have something similar going for PAX East soon. There's still no word on what bands, exhibitors or game companies that are appearing at PAX East, but one thing is for sure, PAX East is totally going to revolutionize your ass off ... yes, I just stole Penny-Arcade's joke. Sue me.

Now that I know this, there's a 90% chance I'll be going to PAX East next year, and whenever the Dtoid thread pops up I'll sign up.

Thanks for the heads up!

I may finally see what all this West coast business is about. I am pretty sure I will do my best to get to this.

@Crocbox

More expensive for those that live on the West Coast, maybe. For me, it's about $850 less than I would have to spend on the normal PAX.

The best part about it being in the Hynes is that I know a good bar about a block away that could be Dtoid's East Coast Red Lion.

Man, I don't know if I can make this, so I hope it doesn't deter east coast people from going to real PAX.

Aaah... I just wanted to cover my bases I suppose.

@NihonTiger
If you consider the other side of the city "a bit of a walk" then by all means do it.

...this isn't an overdue April Fools' joke, is it? I feel like all of us east coasters have been waiting for this for way too long.

Finally an East Coast PAX! All those convetions having been either going on in the West and South, and I'm stuck in New York. But now I can finally go somewhere without spending a crapload of transportation money! Yea, they did raise the price up a little unfortunately, but it's still worth it. Yea, it's like 4 hours drive to Boston, but still I've waited longer in a subway before. I better get a ticket before the price get's any higher!
As for the "infinitebitsconvention", I'm surprised I haven't heard of it before.

I could use PAX East as an excuse to visit family. I kind of miss Boston.

If I can't get a yobz by July, I won't be making it to PAX West. Hopefully, by NEXT MARCH, I will be able to afford it.
