Red Orchestra 2 beta is up for Deluxe Edition pre-orders
If you pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, you can finally play the beta. This goes for anyone who has already purchased the game, and anyone who buys it before launch. This first wave of beta testing will include three different game types and a variety of maps, so you will get a sample of the game's different aspects. You'll also be able to host your own server, meaning you can pick which maps you want to use and change the rules to your liking. Up-to-date information on the status of the beta can be found on the Red Orchestra 2 Steam page. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)I already bought the regular edition on steam, wonder if I can upgrade? Or I could just wait I suppose. I'm just waiting for the official release. I didn't go for the deluxe because it came with weapons already unlocked for me. I'm assuming I'll be able to unlock them as I play, and I'd prefer to do it that way. In case you keep crashing, try clicking Quick Search as soon as you enter the server browser and don't touch the mouse until it's done loading. Been playing this a lot. Was always iffy about RO1 but RO2 has been pretty amazing. They stayed true to the first and made some noticeable improvements.
