In a recent interview with bit-tech.net, Rebellion's Head of Art and Design Tim Jones hinted strongly at the possibility of a new Judd Dredd videogame.
"Well, there is the announcement that went out recently about a new Judge Dredd flim in the works," he said, referring to what's said to be a remake of the 1995 Sylvester Stallone picture, when questioned about a new game. Jones then does his best to not give anything away, but can't really seem to help himself.
"There's not a lot I can say about that right now, but the film is in development and... I can't really say anything about what we might be doing game-wise at the moment," he adds. "But... watch this space."
Okay, Jones, we get it -- you're working on a new Judge Dredd game. It's not a real stretch, considering Rebellion Developments not only makes videogames, but also publishes the Judge Dredd comic. The studio was responsible for 2003's Judge Dredd: Dredd Vs. Death for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube.
But I really don't another Judge Dread is in high demand, probably trying to bring back a dead series.
