Quantcast

This is part two of three of Rayman Raving Rabbids for the Wii. The first-person shooter plunger mini game is by far my favorite so far. And just so you know, that game is on rails -- meaning, you only have to worry about aiming, shooting, and reloading. Enjoy!

So does the game feel like it's worth the pay price? Or is it fun but too shallow (kind of like your feelings on excitetruck?)

Yes, worth it. I was told before there are over 70 mini games. The only thing that irks me are the constant loading screens. Other than that, it's pretty solid. There's this bathroom mini game that you'll see that's very very difficult.

Nice... I have both those game on reserve but wanted to cancel one... I was learning toward keeping Rayman and I think that's the way to go

Looks sweet, you seemed to have a ton of fun plungering those fuzzy little faces.

Couple of questions on the controls. Point and Click for aiming and firing, but how do you reload? Is it a button on the 'mote or flick to the side, like an arcade light-gun game?

Also you seemed to lose power about half way through, was that just a freak thing, or did you have to 'pump up the power' with the nunchuku, like in the carrot juice mini-game?

When you exclaim rapid-fire about 2/3 of the way through, was that you spamming the trigger button, or does it fire like an automatic when you hold down the trigger?

That game looks stupid fun, like Warioware stupid fun.

I had originally just dismissed this game as being a waste, but now I'm actually thinking I may have to pick it up on Sunday.

Wintermute: You reload by shaking the nunchuck. Power? There's no power in the plunger thing. The rapid fire thing was a power-up that I found. All I had to do was hold down the trigger to use it.

I was referring to 5:23 in, but taking a second look, seems like you just got a debuff from that crate and it gave you broken pungers for about 10 seconds.

That 'Best district player' thing - is that a leaderboard thingy? Does it check your scores with an area automagically?

I heard rumors that there was multiplayer is it true?

If there's multiplayer, it's not online. I didn't get a chance to check that out, but I'll let you know next time I play.

I have no idea Twiggy since the Wii online network isn't up yet. I'm gonna throw out a guess and say yes, but I have no idea.

I never played much Rayman in the past but that looks crazy fun. Will definitely want to get that whenever the hell I actually get a Wii.
