Not interested in the U version. Although, I do hope it comes to the 360, PS3, and PC. Loved Rayman Oringins and I own it on multiple platforms, but I have no interest in the toy gimmick. They can keep that silly feature on the Wii U.

It's interesting reading people's comments, especially those saying "Nintendo can keep the toy gimmick, I'll be picking up this game on my PS3 instead." That same "gimmick" just happened to make Activision crazy amounts of cash thanks to Skylanders. Forgive these companies for wanting to make money and for being smart at coming up with new ways to make money.
If you don't like it, you don't buy it, plain and simple. Do you go to a restaurant and hate on bacon just because you prefer turkey? I highly think that you don't; you just order what you like. Video games and the industry aren't different. Buy what you want and skip over what you don't want, but to blatantly say something shouldn't exist simply because YOU don't particularly want it or like it is the highest form of immaturity. The world's not revolving around any one person, sorry to break it to you that way.

love the gameplay and everything, but yeah the graphics seems to bad compared to Origins.
i mean they made Rayamn 3D instead of sprites like they did in Origins plus the art style seems to be more muddier compared to the lovely and colourful Origins.
though i'll wait for more gameplay to see the artstyle more before judging.
and putting things on the Wii U and making it pop into the game is pure genius :)
i wonder if you put guest characters like Mario would he appear in the game?? XD

I'm still working on Origins and it is a gorgeous game with some of the best animations around. The platforming is solid and fun though it takes a pinch too long for all of the mechanics to be applied a sort of slow dip tutorial but that is just my platforming experience making me a impatient. I would look forward to anything new they add to this experience. I am curious as to what the wii U will actulaly end up bringing to the table and hope it is great.

What's wrong with this console using the current Wii Remotes? I think that's a fantastic idea. No one will have to buy new controllers, and they support the Classic Controller for people who don't want to use the tablet.
That last part was confirmed over a year ago, but looking at these comments, people STILL don't seem to get that. I'd be SHOCKED if Rayman Origins required even a single person to use the tablet. I sincerely can't believe people are still worried about playing traditional-style and multiplatform games on the Wii U without a "regular" controller.

I don't think anyone else will be jealous -- Looking at the reviews, the game seems fun enough that everyone will enjoy. Then again, I can't watch this trailer on my phone.
The Wii U currently only supports two tablets, because most people aren't made out of the money they're sure to cost.

The person with the WiiU controller seems to be this games version of the Chalice Bearer from Crystal Chronicles.
