As I understood the blog post, these pre-order items aren't so exclusive. They're simply just early unlockables, so the weapons are in the game, available for everyone, it just means those who pre-order doesn't have to wait to get them in-game.

I wouldn't worry about it guys, all of this stuff you can get in the game. Same with the pre-orders of the last game.
But still, it's Ratchet. I probably will pre-order... That said I reckon they will do a collector edition like the last game. (Though the last games collectors edition was a bit... lacking.)

Batman and Ratchet and Clank in the same month!! Uncharted 3 a month later!!! If I could put myself into a comma to sleep away the time between now and then I would. I so excited for the fall I can't think straight.
