Rare keeps Killer Instinct rumors going with new Viva Pinata cards photo

Not a studio to fan the flames of gossip or anything, the guys at Rare have taken it upon themselves to create a selection of "Viva Piñata vs. Killer Instinct" Vision Cards for use with Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise.

Found on Rare's official site, this is sure to keep the rumors of a new Killer Instinct alive and well. According to Rare, if you use these cards by showing them to your Xbox Live Vision Camera, a KI Piñata will appear in your garden. The selected cards portray Fulgore, B. Orchid and Tusk.

More unique cards to be printed out and shown to your camera have been promised in the future. Whether you choose to take this as more evidence in the ongoing KI rumors or not, it's still a really cool idea.

God Damn you Rare! This has got to be the biggest gamer cocktease I have seen in quiet a while. But correct me if I am wrong, but KI is the last big franchise Rare has yet to whore out on the 360,so it probably is just a matter of time.....sigh...unfortunatley.As much of a fighting game fan as I am,I just dont have much hope for a new KI being anything more than a steaming pile of a wasted 60 dollars, especially given Rare's current track record.

That being said, I'll be scanning these in today.

I'm guessing a new Killer Instinct is going to come out eventually. You bloggers keep talking about it enough.

The only one that would scan was Tusk, and it gave me a big elephant pinata with a viking helmet on. The other two showed up red.

I was excited at the prospect of a new KI last year, but now I have been cockteased so much I just don't care anymore.

It's like being cockteased by a hot chick for years and then one day when you've lost interest and moved on she comes along all interested and shit and you're like "FUCK YOU BITCH".

Killer Instinct is a cockteasing bitch. Killer Instinct is Princess Peach.
