Ah, the Zero series is my favorite Mega Man series, and even though I don't really like rap, it's nice to hear it getting attention.
The finale of the Zero series was absolutely perfect, especially the music. That's it, going to go listen to "Falling Down" now. Then this. Thanks for the find.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but isn't it about time for a spinoff site dedicated to shitty game music? Destructonic? Soundtoid?
Megaman the original, the X series and the legends series are pretty much dead, and any new iterations of those series will hardly recognize like an AAA title, it's sad but all the fans most move on for something new.
Also who cares about the gap between MMZ and MMX the history is pretty much explained in MMZ. Oh and MMZ was the best of any megaman.

yeah well I think that I was getting at the fact that capcom has always treated megaman since the 90s as a joke and never really took the series too seriously in that in the late 2000s the mega man x series was lacking. I think that was why Kenji left them...
I was not talking about the gap between MMZ and MMX, I was talking about the gap between Mega man the orginal game series one the NES and megam man X the series started on the super nintendo.
and if you have not seriously played MMX4 you are missing out one one great game.

This song is really great. Another fantastic song of Random's is a song by the name of "Granny Smith" from his 8th Day album. Check it out. This guy needs more spotlight, no doubt.

Sorry about the gap mistake, but I think in X maverick hunter, X4 and X5 is stated that Dr Light probably at a very advance age created X who was later activated by Dr Cain (archaeologist and robotics expert, really?), in the other hand Zero was created by a very old Dr Willy as his ultimate master piece to destroy any creation of Light, but he was never activated until the 21xx century spreading the maverick virus and thus causing the maverick wars, having both X and Zero no iteration with the MM universe. In relation to Megaman, Roll, Protoman, Bass and all the cast they were probably "retired" somehow, and not game is gonna show you that because it will contradict the thematic of the MM series, a light-hearted platform game.
Also MMZ as a whole series is better than MM as a series, just my opinion, but they both have a great score just like all the megaman games.

So.. I'm not really complaining, because I'm a big Mega Man fan all around.. But seriously, how many more Megaman songs/tracks do we really need? Its starting to feel like its the only property getting this sort of attention -which would only be great if it proved to Capcom how much we wanted to see more of it.
I know there was a surge of Metroid getting the metal treatment for a while, and even some final fantasy, but.. I don't know.. Seems like its fallen off and all we're hearing is Megaman.
