When it comes to PC games, one thing the platform has always had over its console brethren -- other than better graphics -- is mods. Since Rage is an id Software game, creative director Tim Willits has told PC Gamer that the PC version will ship with full mod-making and level building support.
In the words of Willits: "All you need to do is Pull down the console, type 'id studio', then press enter. Then, bam, there’s all the tools we use."
Can't wait for someone to mod the game into an idTech5 version of Doom, Rise of the Triads, or ehm, Borderlands.

I wonder if they will do what Unreal did on the PS3 and allows console users access to mods as well....that would be sweet!
sad, i can mod most any game (fo3, fo:nv, crysis, mass effect, dragon age, bioshock, ect) on the ps3 and very easy too but in order to do so, the ps3 needs to be hacked. most of the mods are just straight up pc mods with only some file name changes to get them to run.
