I'm really glad insomniac are going back to the real R &C. I've played every game in the series and I was really disappointed with all 4 one. I just hope they follow up this DLC with another full game like crack in time. I love Ratchet and Clank

Godammnit Sony stop spilling the beans! There’s beans all over the floor now, who’s going to clean that up? You could have surprised us with some lovely beans on toast at the E3 press conference, but now you’ll just be standing in a puddle of spilled beans, beans rich in flavour and protein sure, but spilled beans none the less.
Yaaay! Finally some good old Ratchet and Clank again. I was waiting for news like this and really hoped the Series didn't die after the last "Future" game. I wonder if this will see a simultanious PS Vita release but in any case, I am looking forwards to it! :D
@Handy Agree! Ratchet and Clank is one of my favorite serieseses. It's cool news, but it would have been nice to be excited by an E3 reveal.
Wish they'd make an XBLA version now that they're dipping their toes in the water with Overstrike. R&C is the only PS series I've ever lamented not having access to on my Xbox... it would help if there was even anything somewhat similar, but there's not.
I can't count the amount of replays anymore. I'm so happy about this! I just love that giggling little robot.
I'll be sure to get this. I liked the last downloadable one, despite it being short and not very interesting.
@TXYeti Ratchet & Clank is a Sony IP so there's no chance for you to play it anywhere else than on a Sony System.

@TXYeti - I don't know what your financial situation is but if you can scrape up enough for a used PS2 or fat PS3 (with BC intact) you would have same great games available to you. I think you can pick up a used PS2 for under $50. The PS2 games are pretty cheap and include some Ratchet and Clank titles. The backwards compatible PS3s are pricier at about $200. I don't know if its worth the investment to you, just thought I'd throw it out there.
Ahh I remember R&C3's multiplayer. Siege mode was so awesome. I had all the PS2 Ratchet's and the PSP Size Matters. Never got a PS3 though :( The Ratchet & Clank games and the Jak & Daxter Collection are probably the only thing particularly appealing to me about that console... then again there is Journey, Uncharted and the Last of Us.
Too much Ratchet & Clank! I already have the HD collection pre-ordered, waiting for Ratchet: Deadlocked HD to hit PSN as well, and now this game. Ugh, damn! I love Ratchet & Clank but this is going to kill my wallet and spare time.
However, I love knowing Insomniac Games isn't done with Ratchet & Clank at least, as they said they're done with Resistance.

This is excellent news that they will not be continuing the direction of all4one. Sure it's only a shorter game but I found Quest for Booty still enjoyable and we do have the HDcollection coming out.
Still I wouldn't mind Deadlocked/Gladiator, Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank all on one disc...

@Pencoin - Ratchet: Deadlocked HD is coming to PSN as an HD remastering. However, there's no commotion over Size Matters or Secret Agent Clank receiving the same treatment (yet).
I agree though. I'd love for those three to release on a blu-ray disc. Sony may consider the idea if the first HD collection sells well and there's enough demand for a Volume II with those three games. If not then at least we have one of them (Ratchet: Deadlocked HD) on PSN.
