Rabbids Go Home gives Rabbid logo a new look photo

Not sure about you, but the fact that Ubisoft's upcoming Wii game Rabbids Go Home is not one of those them there mini-game-fests makes me happy. Quite looking forward to this one, actually.

Which is why I'm keeping an eye on the official Rabbids Go Home Web site, which recently launched... with a teaser splash image. You can sign up for updates if you so desire, but there's a few things you should note here. For one, the logo has been completely overhauled, retooled for the Rabbids upcoming adventure.

Hit the jump to see the evolution of the "Raving Rabbids" logo, and take note of the moon in both the teaser image and the logo. Looks like that's where the Rabbids are heading when the game ships later this year.

I haven't played a Rabbids game since the first waggle fest. If this is anything other than a party game, I'll be interested.

I remember when this series started off as a Raymond platformer for Wii before becoming what it is today. Funny how a series can change so quickly over so little time.

this series has always rubbed me the wrong way. not surprised they dropped the rayman part, i mean it's been forever since there was a decent rayman game.

Raving Rabbids 2 was worse than the first Raving Rabbids. Maybe Rabbids Go Home will be better.

But where has our hero Ray Man gone to? Has the Rabbids upstaged Rayman for good? And here I was hoping Ray Man 4 would be released.

In France, Raving Rabbids are called "Lapins Cretins"

Also: I'm excited. Rabbids are my favorite stoopid animal mascot.

i remember when I first saw Rayman Raving Rabbids, i thought it was going to be like Rayman 2 but with a wacky plot involving mutant rabbits. I was really disappointed either way.

This one... I dunno I really hope there is some real brain behind.

I was one of the people who was forced into pre-ordering a Wii with that stupid first Rabbids game. (and excite truck, anyone remember that one?)

I was actually excited thinking it was going to be a platformer, but hey, these things happen and I didn't have fun.

End of story.

im not getting my hopes up, but this has potential to renew my faith in rayman. plus, the moon? space makes everything sweeter.

Just remember that this one is being done by the Montpelier studio, the same ones that did Beyond Good and Evil. It is also apparently following Michel Ancel's original vision of the concept. So this could mean good things.

So, if the site site says "it first adeventure" we can think of two things
- this isn't the end of the series, is the beggining of a new one
- bye bye rayman :(

My wife and I both like Rabbids 2, but found Rabbids 1 to suck big time for the Wii. Keep in mind we play these at parties when people come over here or we bring our copy when we visit. The single player had poor controls but had the best shooting game. But we were both unable to get past the 4th stage so Rabbids 1 collects dust. Rabbids TV is too expensive, but we will buy it when it drops to $29.99. I will probably rent this one first as too many Wii games bite nowadays.
My wife and I play more and more PS3 games as well as PS2 games.
What they need on the Wii is more super awesome rail shooters sans Zombies. Zombies are so boring lately, every game now has either Zombies, Ninja's, or Pirates. *yawn*

I've always had a soft spot for party games, and this series was alright when it started but quickly got stale. It's good to see they stopped trying to milk a cow that was basically dry around the end of the first game.
