Well I was going to ask what Occam said, but I take it the question is just 'Xbox Live? yes or no'. I do have Live, but rarely use it, I haven't played a multiplayer online game in ages and I haven't had any need to connect to download anything in a long time. So, no. I'm not connected, voting now.
Yes sir, it's the best online console service thus far. 50$ a year is a small price to pay for something that works as well as LIVE does.
The poll isn't even about paying for it, it's about being connected to it at all, which anybody with a 360 should be.
Unfortunately, I don't have a 360 to be LIVE on :(

I'm going to assume that they mean the percentage of all viewers; not just xbox 360 owners here. (To have a 360 and not be online with it likely means you really want to connect but just can't for whatever reason)
Unfortunately, I have no Xbox 360. And due to monetary concern I don't plan on buying one. However, at the top of my list is a new PC I plan to build over the summer, and since most great Xbox 360 games are also available on the PC (and for that matter, are shooter games and work better than the 360 ones by default,) I can easily deal with not having one and still get to play amazing games. :)

I voted no, because back when I had 360 it was constantly offline, I had it for 2 years and I've had gold account for only tree months and only played for a few weeks summary. SFIV mostly.

Very suprising it's less than 70% atm. The 360 is hands down the best system yet crafted by the hands of man. Why?...because of the Live connectivity. There is nothing that comes even remotely close to mimicking the impression of having you're mates on the sofa next to you even though they are on the other side of town. I also own a PS3, it feels so baren and disconnected I hardly ever switch it on anymore. This is why no matter how many RROD's or $ fees I go through - I'm willing to pay for the best, lifes to short.

After being a hardcore PC gamer for years but since my son has turned 2 years old and become not strong but fast, it's nearly impossible for me to sit in the office at the computer playing games.
Now days I'm usually signed on Xbox Live even if I'm watching regular tv or a movie or something. I love the service, it's great, just need more friends so uhhh Gamertag = Glock N Rollin add me.

My gamertag is now linked to my PC (Fallout 3, BioShock 2, GTA IV). I've still got all my 360 achievements! I might have to log on at my dad's and get some Fable 2 achievement points at some point :D

I've been on Live since 06 and frankly, with the majority of my friends on there too, and the service being top dollar, its hard to give up.
There's a few PC games want which I will also link to my gamertag, as you can have both 360 and PC connected and absorb those achievements

This poll doesn't prove anything. Is it only 360 owners you're asking, or the entire Destructoid readership? Regardless of which it is, as long as we don't know the end result will be flawed. In case of the former, the number of 'No's will be higher than it should be, as people without a 360 undoubtedly voted anyway. In case of the latter, the number of 'No's will be lower than it should be, as many non-360 owners undoubtedly refrained from voting.

I would, but I don't particularly do online gaming and connecting to Live has me pulling the Xbox from the TV and placing it in everyones way in the middle of the room, so our tiny yellow cable can reach the wireless router.
