Queen 10-pack coming to Rock Band this month photo

If you believed the rumors, congratulations!

Harmonix has confirmed via its Rock Band 'zine that a Queen track pack -- ten damned songs! -- will be coming to Rock Band in the fourth week of October. You probably want to know what songs they are, and we're happy to tell you:

Another One Bites The Dust, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, One Vision, Fat Bottomed Girls, I Want It All, I Want to Break Free, Killer Queen, Somebody to Love, Tie Your Mother Down, Under Pressure

So basically, all of the awesome ones you probably wanted. No word on pricing, but you can do the math based on previous releases and you'd probably get pretty close. Two weeks is plenty of time to enroll in some singing classes, or at the very least, start warming up those vocal folds.

Yep, I want all of those. This will be the second set of songs I've ever bought for the game. Love me some Queen. I would like Now I'm Here or Play the Game to be in the mix but it's cool.

I really don't think Bohemian Rhapsody would work well in Rock Band. But I don't know shit :).

Also, I forgot about Don't Stop Me Now! That would have been great.

The Singstar Queen game is awesome... and does include Bohemian Rhapsody and Don't stop me now (as well as all the songs listed, plus several others). For those that just want to sing, Singstar might be a better option - though I'm glad to see Rock Band putting this out so more people can enjoy the music!
(and the songs are really, really HARD to sing!... might be easier doing the instrumentals, though I doubt it)

I wanted to be a prince of the universe. (Obscure, but maybe a cool guitar intro.) We Are the Champions would be too easy.

Goddamnit I hate these games but this makes me want it. And in adition to everyone else, Don't Stop Me Now would have been great, also, the whole soundtrack to Highlander, or Flash Gordon would have been amazing.

This needs Princes of the Universe. But even then - Queen, being the best rock band in history (and this is a no contest, no other band is even close), had so many great songs that it would be impossible to fit them all.

and I love some other tunes like Don't Stop Me Now, The March Of The Black Queen, Princess Of The Universe, Play The Game and so on, but i think the only way to put all the good songs from Queen in this game is just by releasing every single moddafuka album as DLC...
