The Heavy Rain dev has opened their mo-cap studio in Paris, France. It is equipped with 64 cameras and can now capture voice performances alongside body and face acting, says GamesIndustry.
Quantic Dream boss Guillaume de Fondaumière says that he is excited about the possibilities that their new studio brings.
"Capturing actors' complete performance in a single take with high fidelity is essential to render the highly realistic 3D characters people expect nowadays in high-definition games and movies, and that is precisely what our new studio can deliver on."
