Are you hungry for some Enemy Territory: Quake Wars? Now that the game is done cooking, it looks like everyone will get a taste on Monday, September 10th, as the PC demo will be released.
The Quake name has always been synonymous with top-end system specifications, and while this instance isn't necessarily a ball-buster, you'll still need a decently fast PC with a respectable video card. Of course, most avid PC gamers are probably ready to rock. If not, you're stuck waiting for the PS3 or Xbox 360 release.
The PC demo will come with the final version of the Valley map, which has "undergone further balance improvements" based on feedback from beta testers. There will also be online play, LAN functionality, and bot support included in this demo.
The Quake Wars development blog says that you'll want to check back to see where the demo can be downloaded, but they're looking to have it up everywhere they can, including at Yahoo, Nvidia, FilePlanet, and Fileshack.
Hit the jump to check out the required system specifications for this demo.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Woohoo!
