It's just a bad image. The unit is said to be black. I guess what Sony refers to as "piano black."
However, I hope they decide to port a bunch of existing on-UMD PSP games to digital, because I REALLY wanna play Crimson Gem Saga et al without having to kill my battery on that drive.
I'm not sure what to think of this, but I guess we'll find out soon enough

Absolutely Fail. That means it must be real.
The fact that it's UMD-less and has 16GB of internal memory makes me ecstatic! And frankly, I think the flip-status is great. If it manages to condense the overall size, that's a win-win for cool looks and efficiency!
On another note, they stopped shipping DS Lites?
Serious question, I had a 2000 from Jan 08 and I didn't have to worry about the unhackable 2000s and all.
I mean, the PSP now is quite expensive, and though I would love to own one, for the handful of titles worth owning, all 5 of them. I can't help but think this will fall on its face, like its older brother.
Also, C'mon homebrew! All I want is the ability to play older system ROMs. I don't give a damn if PSP games turn out to be uncrackable; just let me port and play anything from NES-PSone!
Can't wait to see what kind of battery life this thing will get without a useless UMD drive!
The concept is pretty cool but I'm not sure if it's gonna work out in the end. It looks small enough to fit in my pocket and a new MGS and Gran Turismo is relevant to my interest.
We'll see if I still 'DO WANT' on the release.
