Love the PJ games to death, its cool to see that theyre opening them up to more people for free.
I remember spending 40 hours on a single level in Eden, it was like a weeks worth of hard gaming and it landed me on the top of the leaderboards until my first PS3 died. I really can't think of another simple game like that that I would actually enjoy marathoning like that, what a fun game.

I suck at this game so much. I can't figure out why. I'm a lifetime gamer, I'm generally pretty good at this kind of thing, and I know PJ games are fantastic. However, for some reason, I'm fucking embarrassingly terrible at Monsters.
I dunno, I finally gave up on it. Never did figure out what I was doing wrong.

You and everyone else, man. I do not know that it is even possible to make it all the way through the game single player, and if it is it comes down to memorizing the exact methods and timings down to the second.
Little trick that helps though is plugging in a second controller and just use the second guy to always dance and upgrade. Takes some getting used to, but it gets you a little further if youre playing by yourself. This is assuming you dont already do this.

The game is incredibly unforgiving on certain levels and difficulties. The only thing I can really remember is that several of the towers are absolutely worthless and that upgraded laser towers are fantastic against those damn bumblebees.

The game is not only hard in general, but some levels do not follow set patterns (!), so it is basically impossible to memorize anything.
The expansion is pretty awesomely hard as well.

More Pixel Junk Monsters!!!! Anywhere you can play it is good, but I hope they're whipping up a new one I'll be able to play on my Vita!
