A game that will likely never deny a platform, Puzzle Quest 2, is making its quasi-debut on Facebook as a social game. The app, which is in open beta, is called Mage Trainer. And just like it sounds, the intent of the game is to teach players the fundamentals of Puzzle Quest -- you know, the whole using spells and matching thing.

There's apparently something for veterans here as well. It'll also introduce the new weapon attacks system and help clear the fuzz on how the purple gems work in this latest iteration in the oft-copied series. Check it out here, now, if you like.
