Originally released at the beginning of this year for PC, The Bridge will make the transition to Xbox Live Arcade on November 13, 2013 through publisher Midnight City. It usually happens the other way around, not that it really matters either way. From what Patrick described in his review, we should just be pleased to see this available on more platforms.

He called The Bridge "an experience that I haven't had since P.B. Winterbottom and Braid, and it gives both of them a run for their money. Together, these three games now constitute my Holy Trinity of puzzle games." I vaguely remember playing it a few Penny Arcade Expos ago and feeling like the people behind me were judging my inability to solve puzzles quickly. They so were.

Review: The Bridge

Indie puzzle platformers seem like they're a dime a dozen these days. Start with an art style, something unique or just simple pixels, add some cool gameplay hook, and then make some levels. It’s a standard formula that...more

Review: Steins;Gate

Time travel is infinitely more interesting once you leave the trappings of the TARDIS or any one of those familiar (some would say hackneyed) science fiction mainstays behind. Steins;Gate, the visual novel that inspired a ...more

Review: Putty Squad

Of all of the games to get a PS4 remake, you'd probably never put Putty Squad, an SNES game from 1994, at the top of the list. But here we are in 2014 with a full-on re-imagining, with more or less the same platforming mechanics that still work nearly 20 years later. The only problem is, System 3 Software has opted to charge $29.99 for a decidedly dated game -- which is a bit of a problem.more
