Your iPhone needs this, badly. Warner Bros. has just released what can be scientifically referred to as a buttload of Midway games, all in a single App. For $0.99, you get ten classics: Spy Hunter, Rampage, Joust, Root Beer Tapper, Defender, and Arch Rivals, as well as Arcade favorites Air Hockey, Arcade Basketball, Pool, and Roll Ball. There's even a jukebox that plays your iTunes library. Two game packs are available for additional purchase, the first with NARC, Total Carnage, and APB, the second with Gauntlet, Gauntlet II, and Wizard of Wor.
Clearly, Root Beer Tapper is the most important game of this entire collection. Informative, too. I had no idea root beer tapping was so competitive. Midway Arcade is available now for iPhone and iPad.
Btw root beer tapping is crazy, still have the bite marks on my arm from the great root beer fest riot of '03 :)
Good game. Really hard, but I recommend it just for the premise.
But this doesn't have Sinistar, so it sucks.
That's because it was originally just called "Tapper". Root beer tapper is the same game, just with the budweiser stuff removed because it was construed as marketing beer to kids.
