Put a tie on your Avatar, business clothing added photo

What in the hell is a pencil skirt? I’ve worn my fair share of female clothing -- don’t laugh, Dwayne Johnson has, too -- and I’ve yet to come across anything remotely resembling a writing utensil. If I wasn’t so lazy, I guess I could go find out. Microsoft recently updated the Avatar clothing line with new business themed garb. And, yeah, pencil skirts are GO.

Here’s the full list of new (and free) stuff:

Male

Blue Formal Shirt
Moleskin Pants
Waistcoat and Shirt
Suit and Tie

Female

Pencil Skirt
Slacks
Pinstripe Blazer
Twin Set
I haven’t changed my Avatar’s clothing since the improved dashboard debuted. I feel bad about that. Little DestructoidBrad is like a digital hobo that can’t panhandle.

It would be nice if they atleast added an option to change the color of the clothing instead of just sticking us with whatever color they decided to make the clothing themselves.

I'd totally be sporting a suit if I had a 360. Mostly because my goal would be to have an avatar as unrepresentative of me as possible.

A pencil skirt is one with a straight and narrow cut. Hooray for useless information left over from when I worked at J. Crew!

I really thought that once these Avatar's came out, they'd charge for different clothes/outfits. So far everything has been free. Good job Microsoft.

Any other boring clothes they'd like to add after business, preppy, and 'western'?

At least the biker stuff had a little character to it.

Not that it comes to anything anyways.

wii Mii's > 360 avatars.
i was really excited about the avatars until they came out an had as much character and uniqueness as a Lego man. you just cant do enough, like mcgee says you cant even change the colour of hte clothes, why cant there be some modding tool...like in rock band/guitar hero? i really wanted a baby zangief or else a Zoidberg avatar. instead i got a boring an bland thing. i know its free but we pay for live cant we at least get something for th avatars.
alos why do they all stand like effeminent girlie men? i mean look at my avatar here...im tough.i want my 360 to look tough too.
waa waa waa etc...

I still don't see why Microsoft won't let us manually change clothing colours, or cross-match hairstyles. It would give so much more originality.

I was not one of those looking forward to the avatars initially. Then they launched the Mii-too's, and I was further underwhelmed. But now, with these ongoing updates... Oh wait, I'm still underwhelmed.

Hey MS! It's a "game" system. Maybe we'd like to have some fun with it? Maybe some game-related accessories would make sense? Maybe you should try to appeal to the core audience you do have (gamers) before making drooling frat-boy advances to the so-called casual audience that you don't?

Maybe it's a skirt with pencils attached to it?

A Pencil skirt is a skirt for women whose legs are as thick as pencils, and as such, are inaccessible to most womenfolk. A shame really.

Now, lets think about this for a moment: In this age where people are pretty peeved at the people who wear suits, like bankers and lawyers and execs, why would we want to dress up like them?

Yes! Now I am totally going to dress my avatar in my work clothes! joy.

(Just kidding, I don't dress that nice for work.)
