Psychonauts included in next batch of backwards compatible games for 360 photo

Microsoft just updated their list of original Xbox games that can be played on your Xbox 360 and Psychonauts made the cut! Remember all of those petitions that people made so that this very event would take place? It's safe to assume that this news will make those gamers incredibly happy.

I don't actually use my 360 to play Xbox games, but I might just have to pick up Indigo Prophecy and Psychonauts now that I've been granted the ability to do so.

See the full list of Xbox games after the break.

No "Panzer Dragoon Orta"? The update is of no worth to me. Then again, it's a good excuse to go out and pick up "Psychonauts" for cheap.

I'll also accept "MechAssault" sometime in the future; I barely got to play it on my Xbox before I disconnected it in favor of the 360.

There's NO EA games on their. What's the deal? I know EA and Microsoft are conspiriting behind this.

Where's NBA Street 3? Def Jam Fight For NY? Two GREAT EA games that I can't play.

Also looks like they took these titles down off the list.

Yes, Methodis, this info was maybe released a little too early? Now the newest update on their list is August.

Who knows...hopefully it wasn't a full complete list :(. Or else maybe I have to start a Def Jam Fight For NY and NBA Street 3 petition -_-

Finally, DOA:U! It would have been nice for them to have this one before DOA4 came out but oh well. It's my favorite DOA!

Shenmue II? Thank god.

Now all I want is Gunvalkyrie and Panzer Dragoon Orta, and the library of the 8-9 games actually worth playing on the Xbox will be complete!

I just want Morrowind, Oblivion is nice and all, but Morrowind was, and still is, much much better.

No Phantom Dust. Ugh I'm tired of MS's bs bc list. And the thing is Phantom Dust is a game that was developed in their own studio.

I'm going to forget the 360 and just wait for the PS3.

Indigo Prophecy is great, have fun with it! I miss the days of great story telling in a game... Haven't tried Psychonauts, but I might give it a shot if I have the time.

... Morrowind is not better than Oblivion (original title vs. original title -- not Morrowind + Expansions). It's sad that some people believe that. The only bad thing about Oblivion is that it has all that micro transaction stuff instead of an actual expansion pack.

Also, wtf.
Microsoft is retarded -- why can't they just get some actual programmers out there and get all the Xbox games working on the Xbox 360? I can't believe I sold my Xbox while I was still playing through The Warriors. I'll never finish that game because the Xbox 360 can't even support it.

I agree, The Warriors was a pretty rad game, especially for fans of the movie.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! Where is CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK!?!?!

I bought that game the other week for €10, and I don't even have an Xbox, lol. It's rare, so I thought I'd snatch it up and *hope* for backwards compatibility in the future.
