I know, LOL Sports. But this is kind of cool for PSP owning sports fans.
You may not follow the Premier League football club, but if you did and you were to attend a game at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, you may someday be able to watch replays in the stadium via your PSP.
The Sony-built tech will stream data to PSPs as well as provide stats. Edge says that this could be ready for use in time for the 2011/2012 season.
“This device will bring an extra dimension to the game with information and statistics,” said Sony Europe’s Eric Siereveld. “But we think the next generation of the software that runs it could actually link fans during the game with each other.”
This is pretty cool, but the only thing I'd use my PSP for at some sporting event is gaming.
