PSP game sale on PSN has $4.99 games photo

Poking around on the PlayStation Network this morning, I noticed an icon titled "PSP game sale." To me, sale makes me think of a large selection of discounted items. Here? There's only five items. Good prices though, and beggers can't be choosers.

Here's what they've got:

  • echochrome - $4.99
  • Super Stardust Portable - $4.99
  • Unbound Saga - $4.99
  • Brain Challenge - $4.99
  • Myst - $9.99

There are at least a couple that are worth the asking price. If you don't have Super Stardust Portable or echochrome, they're both well worth the five bucks.

Super Stardust is awesome on PS3, not so much on PSP.

All this special business over the past few weeks for the PSP is annoying. I suppose they're trying to make the Go! look better, but for a new PS3 owner it would be nice to see some similar actions for the home console as well.

Shocking how fast Unbound Saga dropped in price.

@Cadtalfryn

PS3 has actually been getting games lately. PSP and PSPGo have needed a lot more help in that regard, especially if it helps move Go and gives the PSP side of PSN some more traction.

Sadly, it seems like Sony doesn't give a shit about updating the PSO Classic section much, which is a downer for PS3 and PSP owners alike. God help us if they're that slow when they get around to the PS2 games.

Probably echochrome. And I hope the selection gets bigger soon.

Digital distribution is evil and Sony is evil because they want lock you in with a PSPGo then they have no competition and no motivation to offer any sales!
