PSN giving out error messages due to sh*tloads of traffic
The PlayStation Store came back last night, and naturally that means only one thing ... people are struggling to access the PlayStation Store. The PlayStation Network is trying to deal with an inevitable surge of traffic as people desperately try to get their hands on weeks of backed up content. Sony has confirmed that "extremely high traffic" is causing people to receive error messages, but that it'll ease up as the day goes on. "There are so many of you accessing the store at the moment that due to the excessive load, it is a little slow," said Nick Caplin. "We are improving it as I write this, so you will see improvements in speed as the day progresses." If you absolutely must get your inFAMOUS 2 demo right this instant, you should be able to just keep trying and blast through any error messages. Just be aware that you're part of the problem if you do this, and thus you are scum. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)No error messages this morning, little bit of load time but not a big deal. The inFAMOUS 2 demo is really cool. It sucks for you PSN guys to still have to wait but lets be honest, you all knew this was going to happen right? I think anyone outraged by this needs to step back, breathe, and remember what they're dealing with. 1:30 PM on 05.22.2013 Jimquisition: Xbox One out of TenThe Xbox One was revealed this weak to thunderous applause. Oh wait, did we say applause? We meant, farts. Thunderous farts. Speaking of farts, here's a man who loves the smell of his, tearing Microsoft's unified entertainment philosophy to shreds and arguing how the Xbox One is basically a system for nobody but the privileged and demented.
